Call for Artists: Art Inspired by Nature
ALOG members are invited to submit work for our upcoming juried exhibition, Art Inspired by Nature, at The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center Galleries in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your art in a gallery setting as part of our partnership with GPARC’s Arts & Culture Alliance.

Exhibition dates: September 23, 2025 – January 5, 2026

Deadline to submit images and details: Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 5 PM

Eligible work: Any medium that can be wall-mounted (plus two pedestal pieces), minimum 12” on shortest side, up to 60” on longest, under 50 lbs

Theme: Nature in all its forms—landscapes, animals, insects, marine life, sunsets, and more

Each artist may submit up to four works for jurying. About 25–30 pieces will be selected for installation across two gallery spaces. Don’t miss this chance to share how nature inspires your creativity.

Inspired! ’25 ALOG Art Show
The Inspired ’25 ALOG Art Show brought together artists and community members for a vibrant celebration of creativity and connection. Hosted in partnership with BlackRock Center for the Arts, the exhibition showcased a wide range of artwork from members of the Art League of Germantown, highlighting both emerging and established talents. Guests enjoyed an inspiring collection of paintings, photography, and mixed media pieces, while connecting with the artists behind the work. The evening underscored ALOG’s mission of fostering artistic growth and community engagement, and it would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors.
