Each Wednesday during the exhibition ALOG will be offering workshops that are FREE and open to the public. Space is limited and registration is required.

 

Wednesday May 1: ALOG Membership Meeting in the Kay Gallery

“Stories Behind the Art” – ALOG members will share their inspiration and backstories about their work in the exhibition. Open to the public, no registration required.

Social from 6:45-7:15, meeting will begin at 7:15 pm.

 

 

Wednesday, May 8: Live (clothed) Figure Drawing Session in the BlackRock Studio Classroom, 4-6 pm.

Led by Bill Mapes. Open to the public. Space is limited, follow the link to Sign-up Genius link

to register. Bring your dry drawing materials, easel and paper. Limited easels available.

Chairs provided.

 

Wednesday, May 15: Photography Is Art - Panel Discussion, 7-9 pm

Join us for a captivating evening as six of our ALOG photographers discuss photography as art and share their artistic interpretations through examples of their work.

Wednesday, May 22: Art Critique Led by BlackRock Gallery Director, Joshua Gamma, 7-9 pm.

Open to the public. Registration required for up to 8 critique participants.

Wednesday, May 29: Needle Felting Workshop led Gail Kaplan-Wassell in the Kay Gallery, 4-6 pm.
