Jaree Donnelly

Jaree Headshot 1.jpg

Jaree Donnelly founded Midnight Blue®/Arts Entwine to pursue her life-long dream of a creative calling.  She has had a passion for the arts from an early age, enjoying drawing, painting, music, crafts, and photography.  Jaree has studied (and continues to study) studio art, photography, two-dimensional design and jewelry design.   She loves to share the creative spirit.

Photography has provided an unparalleled means for Jaree to practice her creative vision.  Looking through the lens of her cameras, she is able to capture bits and moments of the world in interesting, new ways; the interplay of light and dark as well as subjects and people in their environment.  Adding the computer to the creative process has allowed her to take this art even further, creating unique images of even greater depth and emotion, not possible before.

Jaree is a long-standing member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Art League of Germantown (ALOG), and the Gaithersburg Fine Arts Association (GFAA), as well as multiple regional art organizations.  She is also a juried member of The Best of Missouri Hands and is a founding member of the Gaithersburg Artist Collective.  She currently holds the arts seat on the board of the Kentlands Community Association.

Her work is in private collections around the United States and has been exhibited in the metropolitan Washington, DC area and Missouri.  She teaches both digital photography and children’s art.
